In the summer of 2021, the number of Japanese nationals recruited under the Youth Mobility Scheme in the United Kingdom was increased to 1,500.

Two lottery events are held each year. A quota of 800 people will be allocated to the first lottery held in January 2022, and 700 people will be selected in the second lottery held in July. If your application is approved, you will be able to live, work and attend school in the UK for up to two years.

Those who wish to apply for the 2022 Youth Mobility Scheme will receive one copy per applicant between noon on January 17, 2022 (Monday) and noon on January 19, 2022 (Wednesday). Please send this email to Japan.yms2022@fcdo.gov.uk.

In the subject line of the email, please specify the applicant's name, date of birth (day / month / year) and passport number in the same notation as the passport.

Be sure to write this in English only.

The above email account is open only for 48 hours, and emails received within this time will be automatically confirmed. A reply will be sent.

After the acceptance period, 800 applicants will be randomly selected by UKVI. Winners will receive a second email by January 28 regarding winning confirmation, how to make a reservation, and the documents required to apply for an entry permit.

Winners must complete the online application and payment of the online application fee by credit card by February 28, 2022. If you do not complete the payment of the application fee by this date, your name will be automatically removed from the winning list and your winning will be cancelled. After paying the application fee online, please make an appointment with the Visa Application Center (VAC) in your country / region and submit the application documents within 90 days.
